Information Collection and Use
INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM YOU:
If you create or reconfigure an U Scope account, you provide some personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address, professional title, company name, username, password, contact phone number, and email address. When you use the Services, you may provide information describing a loss event, including but not limited to notes, photographs, policyholder name, insurance policy information, policyholder contact information, property characteristics, property materials, aerial CAD data, measurements, inspection reports, and damage information. We also retain information on your behalf, such as files, reports, photographs, and messages that you store using your account. If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail (e.g., in response to an employment opportunity posted on our website), we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send you a reply, and any information that you submit to us, such as a resume. We may also collect personal data, such as demographic information, from you via the Services or at other points in our website that state that information is being collected.
INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA TECHNOLOGY:
To make our Services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) collect information from you, including browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit. In general, information you submit to us is used to perform our services, to respond to requests that you make, or to aid us in serving you better. Additionally, if you are an insurance adjuster submitting loss information, we will use your information to provide our PHOTO iD services to our clients. Additionally, if you are a contractor submitting inspection information, we will use your information to provide our PHOTO iD services to our clients. We may send upgrades and special offers related to our Services and for other marketing purposes of us or our partners, should you opt-in to receive such communications by following the instructions we provide. If you provide feedback on any of our Services or related services to us, we may use such feedback for any purpose, provided we will not associate such feedback with your identifiable information. U Scope will collect any information contained in such communication and will treat such data in such communication in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
THIRD PARTIES:
We may receive information about you from other sources like telephone or fax, or from companies that assist us in the provision of our Services, including the insurance companies with whom we do business. If you are an insurance adjuster submitting loss information, the insurance compan(ies) with whom you are associated may supply us with your name and contact information, skills, training, and time with the company amongst other data. If you are a contractor salesman submitting inspection information, the contracting compan(ies) with whom you are associated may supply us with your name and contact information, skills, training, and time with the company amongst other data. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via our website in order to improve the Services we provide. U Scope uses a variety of services hosted by third parties to help provide our Services and to help us understand the use of our Services, such as Google Analytics. These services may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP request. Our provision of a link to any other website or location is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other website or location or its contents. When you click on such a link, you will leave our site and go to another site. During this process, another entity may collect data from you. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. Please be aware that the terms of this Privacy Policy do not apply to these outside websites or content, or to any collection of data after you click on links to such outside websites.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
YOUR CONSENT:
We may share or disclose your information with your consent. If you are an insurance adjuster submitting loss information, we will share all submitted information with the insurance compan(ies) with whom you are associated. If you are a contractor salesman submitting inspection information, we will share all submitted information with the contracting compan(ies) with whom you are associated.
AFFILIATES:
Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, “Affiliates”), we may in the future. We may share some or all of your information with these Affiliates, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
SERVICE PROVIDERS:
We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us. We may share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to obligations mirroring the protections of this privacy policy.
LAW AND HARM:
We may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect U Scope’s rights or property.
BUSINESS TRANSFERS:

You may request deletion of your personal information by us, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives. U Scope is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We also require you to enter a password to access your account information. Please do not disclose your account password to unauthorized people. Despite these measures, you should know that U Scope cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with personal information and mistakes may happen.
OUR POLICY TOWARDS CHILDREN
Our Services are not directed to people under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at [email protected]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

If you feel that your complaint has been addressed incompletely, we invite you to let us know for further investigation. COPYRIGHT POLICY
U Scope respects the intellectual property of others and asks that users of our Services do the same. In connection with our site, we have adopted and implemented a policy respecting copyright law that provides for the removal of any infringing materials and for the termination, in appropriate circumstances, of users of our Services who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights, including copyrights.
