Irrespective of which country you reside in or create information from, your information may be used by U Scope in the United States or any other country where U Scope Technologies operates. Information Collection and Use

INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM YOU:

If you create or reconfigure a U Scope account, you provide some personal information, such as your first and last name, mailing address, professional title, company name, username, password, contact phone number, and email address. When you use the Services, you may provide information describing a loss event, including but not limited to notes, photographs, policyholder name, insurance policy information, policyholder contact information, property characteristics, property materials, aerial CAD data, measurements, inspection reports, and damage information.

We also retain information on your behalf, such as files, reports, photographs, and messages that you store using your account. If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail (e.g., in response to an employment opportunity posted on our website), we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, in order to send you a reply, and any information that you submit to us, such as a resume. We may also collect personal data, such as demographic information, from you via the Services or at other points in our website that state that information is being collected.

INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA TECHNOLOGY:

To make our Services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) collect information from you, including browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit. We also use cookies and navigational data like URLs to gather information. Like most Internet services, we automatically gather this personal information and store it in log files each time you visit our website or access your account. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a web site. LOCATION-BASED INFORMATION:

This information may include but is not limited to your account information and name, and real-time geographic location of your device. You may also submit to us location data from loss event and other information. We may share geographic location data with our service providers and clients when you use our location-based services.

By using the Services and applications that depend on location-based information, you agree and consent to us collecting, using, transmitting, processing, storing and sharing information related to your account and the devices registered to your account for purposes of providing such location-based services or features to you. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of location data or any other data displayed by the service. The location-based services are not intended or suitable for use as an emergency locator system.

GENERAL USE:

• Facilitate creation and security of your account
• Identify you as a user
• Administer and improve our Services
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
• Deliver newsletters, surveys, promotional communications (opt-in only)
• Provide services to clients based on submitted inspection or loss information

We do not share personal data such as phone numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for any marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

THIRD PARTIES:

We may receive information about you from other sources (e.g., associated companies, insurers, contractors) to help improve our services. We use services hosted by third parties (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand usage and performance, but this does not include the sharing of your personal data for marketing purposes.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

YOUR CONSENT:

We may share or disclose your information with your consent. If you are an insurance adjuster submitting loss information, we will share all submitted information with the insurance compan(ies) with whom you are associated. If you are a contractor salesman submitting inspection information, we will share all submitted information with the contracting compan(ies) with whom you are associated.

AFFILIATES:

Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, “Affiliates”), we may in the future. We may share some or all of your information with these Affiliates, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

SERVICE PROVIDERS:

We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us. We may share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to obligations mirroring the protections of this privacy policy.

LAW AND HARM:

We may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect U Scope’s rights or property.

BUSINESS TRANSFERS:

In the event that U Scope is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in this privacy policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.

NON-PRIVATE OR NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION:

We may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated information to third parties.

A NOTE TO USERS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES:

Your personal information may be processed in the country in which it was collected and in other countries, including the United States, where laws regarding processing of personal information a may be less stringent than the laws in your country. YOUR CHOICES REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If you are a registered user of our Services, we provide you with tools to access or modify the personal information you provided to us and associated with your account. When you receive newsletters or promotional communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further communications from us and you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive or by contacting us directly (please see contact information below).

Should you decide to opt-out of receiving future mailings, we may share your e-mail address with third parties to ensure that you do not receive further communications from third parties. Despite your indicated e-mail preferences, we may send you notices of any updates to our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy. You may change any of your personal information in your account by editing your profile within the application or by sending an e-mail to us at the e-mail address set forth below as applicable. You may request deletion of your personal information by us, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements).

When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives. U Scope is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We also require you to enter a password to access your account information. Please do not disclose your account password to unauthorized people. Despite these measures, you should know that U Scope cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with personal information and mistakes may happen.

OUR POLICY TOWARDS CHILDREN

Our Services are not directed to people under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at info@uScope.net. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

If you feel that your complaint has been addressed incompletely, we invite you to let us know for further investigation. If we are unable to reach a resolution to the dispute, we will settle the dispute exclusively under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

COPYRIGHT POLICY

U Scope respects the intellectual property of others and asks that users of our Services do the same. In connection with our site, we have adopted and implemented a policy respecting copyright law that provides for the removal of any infringing materials and for the termination, in appropriate circumstances, of users of our Services who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights, including copyrights. If you believe that one of our users is, through the use of our Services, unlawfully infringing the copyright(s) in a work, and wish to have the allegedly infringing material removed, the following information in the form of a written notification (pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)) must be provided to our designated Copyright Agent:

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will always be at www.photoidapp.net/privacy-policy. If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via an update to your account, or e-mail to the email associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
